I love these "life" articles that challenge what I think of asmy modern and common concerns, be it sex, child raising, socialmedia, etc.

I am a parent of young girls, and I like to think about myoptions for how to guide them through life. How do I talk aboutlove? How do I model love in my own life? What I want to achieveand what I do achieve may not sync up.

Kate Winslet seems reasonable to me in her approach.

Most people hold freedom as an absolute value. I think love isan absolute value too, and I think my girls will be better offknowing they will find love someday of their own choosing. Theywill discover their preference as they begin to feel love. And theywill be reminded throughout their young lives that they are free tolove whomever they feel love for. And I hope this knowledge willallow them to smile on loving people without restrictions.

I like this article because it reminds me to think about what isbest for my daughters. Now I only have the easy part of turningthese thoughts into action!
