Porn | Hot Stuff: 'Bucky Larson' And Other 'Sexy' Boys On Film

The latter may be a bit more appealing to the ladies than the former. 'Magic Mike,' about a crew of male strippers, will feature hunky actors Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Joe Manganiello and Matthew McConaughey. (Finally, a movie where it will make sense for McConaughey to be shirtless!)

The flick is apparently based on Tatum's early days as a male dancer, but he won't be playing himself. That honor will go to Pettyfer. (No pressure or anything, playing a dude who's there watching your every move the whole time.) Tatum will reportedly be playing a more seasoned dancer who mentors the fresh meat.

'Bucky Larson,' on the other hand, stars the hilarious Nick Swardson ('30 Minutes or Less,' 'Grandma's Boy') as an aspiring porn star with tiny, um, equipment. Nave young Bucky moves to Hollywood from the Midwest to follow in his parents' footsteps and pursue a career as a porn star. Even though he's ill-equipped for such a career choice, Bucky actually does achieve his goal thanks to his ability to make viewers feel more secure about their own package sizes.

While the goofy-looking Bucky may not be easy on the eyes, the flick co-stars handsome 'Miami Vice' vet Don Johnson as Miles Deep, and hunky bad boy Stephen Dorff as Dick Shadow.

It's about time Swardson was given a starring role. The seasoned actor is always a highlight in whatever he's in, from his role as the object of 'Partridge Family 'matriarch Shirley Jones' affections in the underrated 'Grandma's Boy' to his outlandish turn as Terry the troublemaker on 'Reno 911.'

In a nod to this week's debut of 'Bucky Larson' and 'Magic Mike' on the horizon, here's a look back at my own favorite movies about men who exploit their sexy sides. Oh, behave! (Sorry, Austin Powers -- you just missed the cut!)

Robert Carlyle and company in 'The Full Monty.' Yes, the steelworkers in 'The Full Monty' certainly had an edge over the Chippendales, all right. However, I'd have to say it had more to do with their sense of humor and camp factor than the fact that they take it all off. Also, cool hats.
