Don't get this version confused with the one Lindsay Lohan was originally slated to headline- her shoes were filled last year by Malin Akerman after Lohan was cut from the project. Wilde has reportedly been considering a role in a different movie surrounding the same story for quite some time, but she recently fanned the flames of those rumors by gushing about the potential to appear in a Lovelace tribute. Wilde said last week :
"It would be a tremendous honor… It's such a cool role. She was a fascinating woman"with where she came from toDeep Throatto then working withGloria SteinemandNora Ephron. It's really fascinating." (She's obviously done her research.)
She continued:
"I'm being very careful about my next project since I'm now in a position where I can be really picky"thank God, finally."
