"As families go through their closets determining what fall and winter school clothes still fit their children, we would ask for donations of outgrown items to Love INC - Heartland," said Director Terri Harris. "We are preparing a special section in our Gift and Thrift Store focused on affordable back-to-school clothing and would welcome gently used clothing in good condition."
The Love INC - Heartland Gift and Thrift Store is open from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. - noon on Saturday. Love INC - Heartland serves residents of Independence, Loretto, Greenfield, Rockford, Mayer, Montrose, Howard Lake, Waverly, Delano, Watertown and Maple Plain.
"We hope that area families take advantage of stretching their back-to-school clothing budgets by making Love INC - Heartland's Gift and Thrift store their first stop for back-to-school clothing," Harris said.
Love INC Heartland is a network of 21 area churches of all denominations that cooperatively work together to support neighbors in need.
