Porn | Woman Pleads Guilty In Child Porn Case

A Bloomington woman admitted Friday she downloaded child porn off the Internet.

Jennifer L. Donahue, 21, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Peoria to conspiracy to receive child pornography. She faces at least five and possibly up to 20 years behind bars when sentenced in December by U.S. District Judge James Shadid.

Her boyfriend, Adam L. Brewer, 22, of Beardstown pleaded guilty last week to conspiracy and two counts of production of child porn. The later two charges relate to incidents in Cass County, where Brewer took pictures of two minors in April and August.

He also faces sentencing in December. Both also have agreed to hand over any computer equipment to the government as part of their pleas.

According to a criminal complaint filed last week in U.S. District Court but sealed until Monday, police found several images on both Brewer's and Donahue's computers. The police learned of the two by tracing the IP address of several images uploaded to a peer-to-peer trading network to Donahue's computer.
