Porn | Quote Of The Day For 'Child Porn Bill' Skeptics

"Keep Every American's Digital Data for Submission to the Federal Government Without a Warrant Act of 2011."

-- California Rep. Zoe Lofgren 's snarky proposal for the renaming of the Protecting Children from Internet Pornographers Act of 2011, which got the thumbs up from the House Judiciary Committee yesterday . The bill, which is expected to go to the floor in the fall, would require Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to retain data for at least a year to assist law enforcement in gathering digital evidence of crimes, including that of child pornography. Critics say the bill will create an even vaster database of Americans' Internet activity. Via The National Journal .
