Ronald Kuntz, 46, of Dickinson pleaded guilty and was sentenced Thursday on a charge of receipt of materials involving the sexual exploitation of minors in U.S. District Court, U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon announced in a press release.
A judge sentenced Kuntz to serve six years in federal prison to be followed by 10 years of supervised release, according to the release.
In July 2009 Kuntz received visual depictions by computer which involved the use of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct, according to the release.
The case was investigated by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations and the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
