A Tennessee man was formally charged Wednesday by a Warren County grand jury with dozens of counts of possession of child pornography.
Joshua Lee Sanders, 29, 1295 Hwy. 22, Union City, Tenn., was indicted on 38 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and second-degree persistent felony offender.
According to court records, Sanders came to the attention of law enforcement on April 9, when his ex-girlfriend contacted the Bowling Green Police Department after receiving her BlackBerry cellphone back from Sanders.
A city police arrest report states that three videos and two pictures of child pornography were saved on the phone that had been returned to the woman.
The alleged offenses listed in the indictment all occurred between April 7 and 9.
