Ask some Americans who Pippa Middleton is and the answer is... porn 
To be fair, just 2% of pollees picked the multiple choice "Adult Film Star" answer, while about 1/3 selected the correct answer, "British Socialite." But maybe the name "Pippa" threw them off? What's a Pippa? (btw... it's short for Philippa...)
Or perhaps it's because 2% of the US population is skewed naturally to adult film stars. As it turns out more than half of the respondents clicked the "Don't Know" option. That's more like it.
But that's probably going to change as Pippa Middleton gains more ground in the tabloids due to marriage rumors (no, not Prince Harry... more likely to long-time stockbroker boyfriend Alex Loudon) and the news that she's getting her own booty, er... uh, beauty secrets special hour on TLC.
Other results in the poll show American cluelessness with plenty of people choosing James Bond as a real-life secret agent and refusing to believe Osama bin Laden is dead. Give it some time and the rumor will eventually be started that James Bond was the guy who killed him...
What good do these polls do anyway? They just reveal how dumb about half the population really is. Hmmm... maybe that's a good thing? After all, who wouldn't watch Pippa Middleton in a XXX movie, even if they had no clue who she really is?
Answer: 2%... with an error rate of plus or minus 98%...
