The cases are the sex video featuring a man resembling Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and the death of Selangor Customs Department assistant director Ahmad Sarbani Mohamed .
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar said the A-G's Chambers had returned the papers with instructions to check several more aspects.
"It is a normal procedure for the A-G to return investigation papers to strengthen the case," he said after launching the Anti-Traffiking in Persons and Smuggling conference here Wednesday.
The conference is aimed as sharing information on the new modus operandi implemented by human trafficking syndicates in Asia as well as avenue to enhance partnership between countries in combating the menace.
Ismail also expressed shock that clips of the sex video had surfaced on YouTube, adding that investigations were ongoing simultaneously to identify those involved in uploading the clips.
