Porn | Man Faces Charges Of Possessing Child Porn

MOUNT HOLLY - A Willingboro man was charged with possessingchild pornography on his home computer, Burlington CountyProsecutor Robert D. Bernardi and Willingboro Public SafetyDirector Gregory Rucker announced Monday.

John E. Cherubini Jr., 54, was charged with one count ofpossession of child pornography. If convicted, he faces up to 18months in prison.

The charges followed the execution of a search warrant atCherubini's Shawmont Lane residence during which a computer anddigital storage devices were seized, authorities said. He was takeninto custody Friday and released on $2,500 bail.

The case was investigated by detectives from the BurlingtonCounty Prosecutor's Office, which is a member of the New JerseyInternet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

"We will continue to devote the resources necessary for thedetection, apprehension and prosecution of those who create,collect or distribute sexually explicit images of children,"Bernardi said.
