Cory Reibel, 23, of Swansea, faces 15 to 30 years in prison whenhe is sentenced Aug. 22, authorities said. Prosecutors say Reibelin February took a nude cell phone picture of his girlfriend's3-year-old daughter. Prosecutors said Reibel's girlfrienddiscovered the image when looking through emails and photographs onhis phone.
In an unrelated case, Hal D. McBride, 43, of East Alton, haspleaded guilty to enticing a minor and three counts of receiving,viewing and sending child pornography.
McBride faces 10 years to life in prison for his crimes when heis sentenced Sept. 7.
Authorities said McBride was caught last year asking anundercover officer that McBride thought was a 14-year-old girl totake nude pictures of herself and send them to him.
McBride also viewed and downloaded child pornography in 2009 and2010, authorities said. In August, McBride used a web camera tosend images of himself performing sex acts to undercover officersposing as teens.
