Deputies said they found it on a local man's computer, and he immediately confessed.

When deputies knocked on the door of Arthur Barnett's home, a woman answered and deputies showed her the warrant. Police said that's when Barnett quickly appeared and said, "Sir, I can talk with you to make this easier."

Investigators said 60-year-old Barnett had an alias on Facebook under the name "Barney Bretts," which has since been taken down after 36 images of child porn were found posted in his photos.

Facebook caught the images and reported them to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which immediately contacted the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

"A lot of technology is bringing out a lot of bad things in people," said Barnett's neighbor, Lorraine Hilgenfeldt. "The more technology, the worse it becomes."

But it was technology that helped detectives track Barnett down. They traced his account to the email address olelovingman59@live.com.

When detectives asked Barnett about the pictures, he said he had been looking at child pornography for about two years. He told police that the last time he looked at it was the night before.

It's an admission that scares his neighbors.

"That close to my house? That's terrible. I have kids," said Hilgenfeldt.

Before Barnett was arrested, though, detectives said he led them to his computer in a back bedroom of his house and said, "Just turn it on. You will see it."

"It" referred to folders of child pornography. One of the folders was named "Foldernewxxx," police said.

Detectives said Barnett had been posting child porn on Facebook from November through January.

When a crew from WESH 2 News knocked on his door, the people inside wouldn't answer, but they did call the Sheriff's Office to report that they were being harassed. The crew knocked once and left.

Barnett is facing 25 child pornography charges, and his bail was set at $250,000.
