A former commercial pilot from Texas has been ordered to remain in custody until his July trial on child pornography charges.
A judge in Houston on Monday granted a prosecution motion and denied bond for 47-year-old Todd Steven Ewanko of Atascocita.
A federal indictment returned in May charges Ewanko, who was arrested last summer on state charges, with two counts of receipt of child pornography, one count of distribution of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. Ewanko, if convicted, faces up to 20 years in prison.
Ewanko formerly was a captain with Colgan Air Inc., doing business as Continental Connection. He was suspended following his arrest in the undercover investigation.
